Launch News: TORRID is the First Plus-Size Brand to Launch a Resale Program with RaaS
thredUP is thrilled to add Torrid, the #1 brand in the $85B U.S. women’s plus-size apparel and intimates market, to our ever-expanding portfolio of Resale-as-a-Service (RaaS) clients. With less than 20% of eco-conscious brands catering to above-average sizes, size-inclusivity has been historically left out of the sustainable fashion space. Until now!
Launch News: VERA BRADLEY Launches Resale with RaaS
Circularity has more to celebrate today! We are proud to announce that thredUP has just expanded our partnership with beloved brand Vera Bradley to launch a resale shop: Vera Bradley Forever Favorites. Vera Bradley and thredUP’s RaaS have been working together since 2021 when the brand debuted its first-ever Clean Out Program. We are thrilled to support Vera Bradley as they close the loop on circularity by enabling customers to easily shop gently used Vera Bradley favorites from the brand’s own e-commerce site.

In 2011, two years after the launch of online resale marketplace thredUP, the company introduced its signature (and 100% free to customers) Clean Out Kits. The goal? Unlock a massive supply of quality clothes from consumers’ closets by providing the world’s easiest solution to selling used clothes—all while inspiring a new generation to keep clothing in circulation and out of landfill.
