Madewell

We’re proud to participate with Madewell’s Do Well initiative by launching their 360 circular store. Madewell Forever is provided with resale inventory from customers who exchange pre-loved denim for brand credit available to be used on a new pair of jeans. Additional supply is unlocked through ThredUp’s inventory, giving their customers a wide selection of sizes and styles.

We’ve piloted this program that will allow us to tap into their inventory as well as their expertise around logistics, but the experience on the site will feel native to Madewell.
— Liz Hershfield, Madewell, SVP and Head of Sustainability

Reformation

Reformation uses Resale-as-a-Service as a way to incentivize conscious consumers to turn their secondhand clothing into brand credit with our Clean Out Program. Together, we are preventing items from filling landfills and finding solutions to do better for our planet.

The original purpose of our Clean Out program was to extend our impact and further our sustainability goals. But the results we saw on customer acquisition were the biggest surprise and delight moment.
— Kathleen Talbot, Chief Sustainability Officer at Reformation

ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH

Abercrombie and Fitch’s commitment to sustainability aligns with our mission to inspire a new generation of conscious consumers. Together, we're giving customers an easy, rewarding way to extend the life of their clothes —one Clean Out Kit at a time.

Athleta

As an early adopter of resale, Athleta has built phenomenal customer engagement with circularity and helped introduce thousands of new customers to the Athleta brand. We’re proud to see the successful results of their program and look forward to supporting the company as it continues to innovate and advance its sustainability initiatives with resale.

As the resale revolution continues to gain momentum, participating in re-commerce is not only good for our planet, but good for business. We’re thrilled to partner with Thredup in offering an innovative way to shop for the closest of the future.
— Mark Breitbard, President & CEO Global Gap Brand
Sustainability is integral to our success and it’s important as ever to our customers. This collaboration [with ThredUp] not only helps reduce textile waste, but also offers them a convenient way to do good, something we know they’re eager to do.
— Fran Horowitz, CEO of Abercrombie and Fitch
